Rehome and Surrender

As the world hit a devastating virus in the last months of 2019 known as the coronavirus or covid-19, it changed the world and not in a good way. As many people struggle to get back to somewhat normal, the blow of the pandemic is still financially affecting so many. I have been in the pet industry for many years, and never have I seen hundreds of pets being surrendered or rehomed by their owners because they can no longer care for them. Pets are family to many households around the world, and for many pet owners to have to make the heartbreaking decision has hit me to the core. I have decided to start a non-profit organization to fulfill my mission and passion, which is to help pets and their owners stay together! Even though we are no longer in the midst of the pandemic, pet parents continue to reach out to the Pet It Forward Foundation for assistance and resources for help. Pet It Forward has a vision to see a world where no pet parent would have to give up their beloved pet because of a financial hardship.
As a 501c3 status, Pet It Forward Foundation is a non-profit organization.
